"The American Idols Live! Tour 2008" is starting on July 1, 2008 in Glendale, Arizona. It is a continuation of the annual end of season/summer tour of the current season's top ten contestants. This year's tour will feature the top ten finalists of the popular reality TV show, American Idol, a singing contest. The show starts out with dozens of contestants who are progressively weeded out until only about 24 are left. Those remaining appear during the season and seek to out do one another in song. This year, for the first time, the contestants could play their own instrument. The tour will headline the two finalists David Archuleta and David Cook, as well as Chikezie (10th), Kristy Lee Cook (7th), Michael Johns (8th), Ramiele Malubay (9th), Syesha Mercado (3rd), Carly Smithson (6th), and Brooke White (5th). The tour will end in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 13, 2008. So, get your American Idols Live tickets today before they are all gone!
